THE T-SMART BUTTERFLY VALVE: A NEW CONCEPT FROM GEA TUCHENHAGEN
Portland, ME – GEA Tuchenhagen US, LLC., global manufacturer of a wide range of sanitary components for the U.S. dairy, pharmaceutical, brewery and food, beverage and personal products industries, announces a new, cost-effective butterfly valve series.
The new, cost-effective T-smart butterfly valve series offers many advantages for the end-user, including a compact maintenance-free actuator with reversible operation, a simple integrated proximity switch-holding device, a hygienic stem guidance design and a t-shape gasket with optimum resistance against vacuum and reduced switching torque..
In addition, the range is available with Tri-Clamp® connections or as a 3-piece flanged design, allowing the valve to be welded into the pipeline with subsequent easy removal to change the wafer. The T-smart butterfly valve range can also be fitted with the well-known GEA Tuchenhagen T.VIS® intelligent control module which has an IP66 protection class or the T.VIS® P-20 positioner .
The new T-smart butterfly valve range’s compact size results in a lightweight design enabling easy handling and operation of the valve. T-smart butterfly valves are manufactured in 1“ OD through 4“ OD sizes.
