Mixproof Divert Valves, Types Y & Y_L

The mixproof valve Type Y diverts liquid from the middle port to either the upper or lower ports. The middle and upper port have a mixproof seat arrangement providing double seal separation.

In the event of gasket failure, liquid contents drain through the cavity to atmosphere preventing cross contamination between the two lines. The middle and lower ports are seperated by a single gasket and therefore do not provide mixproof separation.
