Documentation

All GEA Tuchenhagen valves supplied to the pharmaceutical/bio-processing industries are available with a full range of quality documentation to ensure compliance with the FAT/SAT protocols and procedures.

Refer to the chart at the bottom of this page to determine the contents of the basic and ASME BPE documentation packages that are provided with the valves. The ASME BPE Plus package provides for those applications where all wetted parts, in addition to the housing, require special manufacturing process documentation.

Materials

All process wetted materials are supplied as standard to AISI 316L and in accordance with the ASME BPE.
High alloys such as AL6XN and Hastelloy C22 are available for almost all products.
Gasket materials are available in EPDM, FKM and HNBR. We are also able to supply gaskets in ISOLAST and other materials such as PEEK and encapsulated PTFE.
All standard gasket materials are certified compliant with USP Class VI requirements.

Surface Finish

The housing and, if specified, all wetted parts, can be supplied with a surface finish of up to Ra 15-20 as a standard option. This exterior finish of the housing may be polished or matte bead. Housings and wetted parts may optionally be provided electro polished.
