Single Seat Shut Off Valves for the Food & Beverage Industries

 

Single seat shut-off valves are used for simple shutoff at flow path intersections within the pipe system. One seal is used on the one-part valve disk for shutting off two pipes against each other. In case of sealing failure, controlled leakage drain is not provided.

 

Various process connections are available such as Tri-Clamp or the sanitary VARIVENT® flange arrangement. All single seat shut-off valves are available in sizes from OD 1" through to OD 4" as standard, with fractional single seat shut-off valves for CIP routing operations in 1/2" or 3/4" sizes.

 

GEA Tuchenhagen single seat shut-off valves are also available for reverse acting applications to enable closure against flow when required.

 

The modular design for all types of all GEA Tuchenhagen single seat shut-off valves provide for a low diverisity of spares and the proven GEA Tuchenhagen metal-to-metal sealing principle ensures long gasket life and low maintenence.
