Horizontal Mixproof Valve

The modular design of the mixproof tankbottom valve Type T valve, in connection with the radial seal to the tank, now make it possible to reliabily close against higher pressures. The reliability of the process is also enhanced as the balancer fitted in the closing direction prevents the double disk from closing too fast, thus reducing the risk of pressure hammers.

 

The design of this valve, with the option to install a flushing valve, now allows the valve to be installed in the horizontal position allowing for innovative and flexible ways for shutting off tanks.

 

Benefits of the tank bottom valve Type T

  • The radial seal prevents switching leakage and also prevents the valve disk from vibrating under high pressures.
  • The balancer prevents the valve disk from closing too fast when closing in the direction of product flow, thus reducing the risk of pressure hammers.
  • Due to the use of standard VARIVENT® actuators, this valve can be adjusted to various process parameters.
  • In connection with the flushing valve, the tank bottom valve can also be installed horizontally as in the ECO-MATRIX® pipe concept.
