VESTA® Aseptic Valve Range

The new VESTA® aseptic valve generation from GEA Tuchenhagen has been specially designed without a membrane to provide the most effective sterile valve system available.

The valves are pocket-free, provide absolute drainage and are easy to install. They are ideal for low flow volume applications in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and biotech segments.

Benefits at a glance:

  • No membrane resulting in easy cleaning
  • Hygienic, pocket-free design
  • Self-draining
  • Can be mounted horizontally or vertically
  • Compact for easy fitting in confined spaces

With a size range from ½" - 4" (OD), VESTA® valves are the smallest of their kind to operate without the use of a membrane. Instead, sealing is achieved through hermetically sealed PTFE bellows which are pocket-free, avoiding the retention of process product and allowing effective sterilisation. Their design also allows them to be orientated vertically or horizontally for ease of fitting in confined spaces.

VESTA® aseptic valves can be used in a wide range of applications in the laboratory or within complex process plants. They allow the development of innovative distribution systems that conform with known process technology standards and can handle the different media necessary for operation, cleaning and sterilization. These valves are of the highest manufacturing standard under strict safety control.

657e VESTA Sterile Technology overview
English, 5.58 MB,  657e, 02/2010
VESTA® sterile valves represent a full range of process technology valves. As sterile production processes demand that any migration of substances between the processing zone and its ambient area be prevented, a hermetically secure sealing system is essential. VESTA® sterile valves meet that requirement by utilising a bellows-type sealing element. Download to learn more.
