24/7 PMO Valve®, Type M

This is the first PMO mixproof valve to allow 24/7 non-stop production in US dairy plants, resulting in substantial productivity gains for US dairy processors.

Previously, PMO regulations did not allow for the cleaning of a mixproof valve seat while product is present in one housing of the valve. As plant production must stop for cleaning of the valve seats, the flexibility of operation and productivity benefits associated with mixproof technology has, up to now, been greatly reduced.

Due to its unique patented design, the PMO seat cleaning restriction has been lifted by the Regulatory Authorities for this new generation 24/7 PMO Valve^® from GEA Tuchenhagen.
