Process Relief Valve, Type Q

The process relief valve Type Q has an adjustable spring actuator which compresses as the valve set pressure is exceeded and diverts the flow into the upper pipe.

 

The process relief valve actuator is also available with pneumatic lift option to clean the valve during CIP.

 

Applications include by-pass relief for positive displacement pumps.

 

The Type Q valve is can also allow the process pressure to exceed the relief valve set pressure when required for applications such as filling or transfer.
