Sample Valves

GEA Tuchenhagen offers sampling valves for low volume (Type IT) or high volume (type IS) samples. Also available is the new mixproof sample valve, designed to be 3A compliant. All versions can be supplied with the pocket-free GEA Tuchanhagen In-Line Access Unit.

Type IT

This valve incorporates an actuator that can be activated manually or pneumatically. Various types of connection nozzles are available for a safe and no-loss discharge of the sample into the receptacles. Spiral nozzles are used for liquids containing CO₂ and other medium tending to foam. 3A approved.

Type IS

This valve is available to draw off larger samples into either a single or twin process connection ports. 3A approved.

Mixproof Sample Valve

Ideal for sanitary in-line or vessle sampling requirements, this valve allows the sample line to be automatically cleaned or sterilized prior to taking the product sample, without any fear of contamination of product with CIP or sterilzation liquid. Designed to be 3A compliant.
