Applicable Valve Types: N, U, X, W, K
Restrictions: Type LAT Proximities cannot be used with Limit Stops
Limit stops are available to restrict the activated valve stroke length to open (option /20) or to close (option /21) for valves that activate closed and towards the valve seat for dosing type applications.
The stroke length is set by rotating the limit stop clockwise or counter-clockwise to the desired stroke length and provides the valve with a highly repeatable stop position.
The limit stop is fit directly to the valve stem in the lantern area, and therefore does not allow for a lantern mounted proximity switch type LAT.
Limit stops are not recommended for use with mixproof valves other than the CIP mixproof Type K.

Applicable Valve Types: VESTA® valves only
The VESTA stroke limiter is used to limit the strok length of a valve. It is adjustable over the entire stroke range. Two design types are available: stroke limiter open (/20a) and stroke limiter closed (/21a).
